High-Level Meeting Held at Ministry of Youth and Sports to Discuss Sports Infrastructure Development in Nepal

Kathmandu — A high-level meeting was successfully conducted at the Ministry of Youth and Sports to discuss the development of modern and efficient sports infrastructure for the advancement of Nepal’s sports sector. The meeting was chaired by Honorable Minister Shri Bablu Gupta, Minister for Youth and Sports.

The primary focus of the discussion was on how sports infrastructure development can be carried out with greater efficiency, sustainability, and long-term impact. Participants shared insights on strategic planning, innovative design, and future-oriented development models to strengthen Nepal’s sports ecosystem.

The meeting was attended by Ananta Gautam, Managing Director of Mars Group, along with Mahendra Lama, Chief Executive Officer, and Ramesh Gautam, Chief Designer. Each attendee contributed valuable perspectives on infrastructure planning, design innovation, and execution strategies aligned with international standards.

Key topics included the need for modern sports facilities, youth-centric development programs, public–private collaboration, and long-term planning to support athletes and sporting events at national and international levels. Emphasis was also placed on future progress, capacity building, and creating sustainable infrastructure that benefits upcoming generations.
